New Message Series
Starting This Sunday

Have you ever stopped to consider, “What Does God Want?” Most of us probably have wondered what God thinks about the things we do. As a church, we have diligently been asking this question over the past year as we consider what God would want from each of us personally and collectively as a church. We invite you to join in as we dig deep into this question as the central focus of our new message series: “WHAT DOES GOD WANT?”

Five Sermon Topics:

  • Love All
  • Grow Faith
  • ShareJesus
  • Impact the World
  • Go All In

Heritage Hall Grand Opening

Ringgold UMC has long and faithful story of mission and ministry.  We need to celebrate our story – not so that history can serve as an anchor, but a rudder for the future.  Knowing how God has worked in the yester years will tell us more about where God is leading for tomorrow. Join us for a brief ceremony of dedication and unveiling at 10:50AM in the Large Fellowship Hall/Gym Entrance.

Join us for a night of fun with a New Orleans style dinner with a Mardi Gras Theme. There will be an alternative food choice if Cajun isn’t your thing! Come and bid in either our silent or live desert auction. Cost is $12.00 for Adults and $6 for children under the age of 10. There will be no childcare available for this event. You may sign-up and pay online at ringgoldumc.org/sign-up. Included in that sign-up is an option to volunteer to bring a dessert or silent auction item. All proceeds go to funding June 2017 Nicaragua Community Mission trip projects.

On Ash Wednesday we humble ourselves before God at the onset of Lent, a 40 day season of Christian devotion leading up to Easter Sunday. Are you awake to God’s presence in your life? Come. Find humility. Cease sleep walking. Be awakened to God’s Presence.
Join a blended worship service with choir and acoustic band as we begin this season together. Childcare for nursery/preschool available. Older children invited to attend. Dinner starts at 5:45 – $5 adults/$3 kids. There is no sign up needed. No small groups in lieu of Ash Wednesday worship.

Ladies Weekend at Ringgold UMC
March 3rd (6-9:30p) & 4th (10a-5p)

Come as you are, and gather with other women to experience the Spirit of God. We will ask God to move in our generation as we look at one of the most powerful generations: the early church. Snacks & Lunch included in a $15 registration fee.  Sign-up at ringgoldumc.org/sign-up.

Youth Nicaragua Community Yard Sale

We have seven youth who are working on attending the upcoming Nicaragua Community Mission Trip in June. As a way for them to earn some funds to help with their trip, they are hosting a yard sale. Your help is needed to help them earn money for this trip. Proceeds from the yard sale will go to offset cost of the mission trip for the youth attending. The Youth Nicaragua Community Yard Sale is scheduled for March 24-25 at the church.

Want to help? You can be a part of what makes this yard sale a great success. In fact, we need around thirty persons to signup to help with this upcoming yard sale. Follow the link below to see the many ways you can volunteer before, during, and after the sale.

Signup to volunteer for the yard sale here.

Serve and Volunteer in Youth Ministry

WE ONLY HAD NINE PEOPLE SIGNUP TO HELP IN THE YOUTH MINISTRY through Sign-Up Sundays. There is an opportunity for 10-15 more persons to signup today. Maybe you forgot?

If you have not signed up to serve through the Sign Up Sundays this Winter, that tells me you are not interested in serving this time around. We have opportunities for you to serve in the youth ministry, so go ahead and consider how God would lead you to volunteer in the youth ministry at Ringgold United Methodist Church. Here are some opportunities:

  • Sunday Night Helper – join a team of people who provide food and partner in support.
  • Wednesday Night Helper – join a team who facilitate our Student Life Groups. You would serve as an assistant to our group leaders.

Signup online here.
