Wednesday evening is all about connections. Connect with God. Connect with Others. Connect with Community.
The following Wednesday Connections activities are scheduled throughout the school year.
A great way to connect with others is over a shared meal at dinner. Each Wednesday Connection begins at 5:30p with dinner in the Gym / Fellowship Hall. RSVP for dinner by Sunday each week. Cost is $6 per person. Children, 11 years and younger, eat free.
Wednesday Night Grow Groups
Connection Groups for Adults
Adult Connection Groups meet on the Adult Hall at 6:30p. Click here to find out more about all of the adult connection groups.
Groups for Children
Nursery and Kids group activities take place on the Children’s Hall. Age appropriate lessons, crafts, wee-worship, wee-sing, and playground time are favorites. Sign-in begins at 6:05PM. No pre- registration needed. First time quests are always welcomed. Contact Heather Burroughs with nursery questions and email@example.com with kids questions.
Groups for Youth
Groups for Youth begin in the youth room (located off gym). 6th – 12th graders gather for Bible based small group discussion time. This time helps teens develop spiritually because of the thought provoking question and answer format. Teens are invited to wrestle with how the Bible informs everyday issues and challenges. No pre-registration needed. First time quests are always welcomed. Contact Bobby Fleck with questions.
Serve Others w/ NCIC
Each week, over 1500 snack packs are delivered to local Catoosa County schools through the Nourishing Children in Catoosa (NCIC) program to provide needy children nourishment over the weekend. The ministry wouldn’t happen without Wednesday walk-up volunteers. Expect to work with 20-30 other people ranging from retired regulars to families serving together once a month to teens from local high schools doing something good for their community. Our mission is to share God’s love by feeding hungry children. Packing is typically finished between 4:30 and 5:00PM depending on number of packers.
Walk-ups always welcomed or contact Sharon Hardin so she can expect you.
