Thanks for checking us out! We would love for your kids to be a part of r|kids! Our goal at RUMC is to provide a safe and loving environment for children. As a faithful parent, you want your child to feel God’s protective and caring grace in their lives. We want that too! Making every effort to welcome your child and make them feel at home, we hope to meet your family’s needs and look forward to your involvement.
The mission of the Children’s ministries at RUMC is to support, partner with and empower families to develop fully devoted followers of Christ and to share with them in an active relationship with Christ.
Check-In for r|kids
To ensure the safety of r|kids, we use a computer check in system that provides a name tag for your child and a pick up ticket for the caregiver. When your child comes to any program time, please check them in prior to taking them to their classroom or area. There are 2 check-in stations, located on both ends of the Children’s Hall. Parents should accompany children to their ministry classroom and pick them up at the end as well, giving their pick-up ticket to the adult leader.
- 9:00a – r|kids Worship (Pre-K and elementary ages) & Nursery
Nursery is available for birth through preschool ages. Kids are welcome in the sanctuary with their families. Kids Pre-K and up who wish to participate in Kids Worship are sent to a special worship time prior to the sermon. (If your child will be going to Kids Worship, please check them in before worship begins.) Parents can pick kids up from the multipurpose space after the service, or kids will be taken directly to age appropriate Sunday school classes.
