The first visit to a new place can sometimes create a little anxiety as you think about where to go and what to wear. We are so happy that you are considering joining us, and we want to make this first visit as easy as possible. Here’s what you need to know to plan your first visit to Ringgold United Methodist Church.
Worship generally lasts 60-70 minutes and includes music, prayer, and a message. We offer two distinct worship environments that are both in the Sanctuary: 9:00a Traditional Worship & 11:00a Contemporary Worship. If you are looking for a bit more information on what we mean by those terms, follow the link (more).
Dress at both of our worship times is generally casual to dress-casual. You will most likely see people wearing a variety of styles from suits and dresses to blue jeans and shorts. We typically lean more towards casual than dressy/formal.
The Main Parking Lot, and most convenient parking, is located at the corner of Nashville St (Highway 41) and Cleveland Street. If that parking lot is full, you can park in the back parking lot off of Sparks Street. This parking lot will take you into the Gym / Fellowship Hall entrance of the church. We are located at 7484 Nashville St, Ringgold, GA. If you need directions, click more.
If parking in the Main Parking Lot, enter through the Main Entrance (clearly marked on the outside of the door) and into our Main Lobby. You will see people at the door greeting you on the way in who will provide you with a bulletin. The Main Lobby also includes a Welcome Desk (clearly marked “Welcome”), which contains flyers and brochures with information about the church. This Welcome Desk is where you will find information about nursery and kids programming for the day as well.
Nursery and Kids
If you have little ones with you on your visit, you are welcome to bring them into the Sanctuary with you for worship or you can check them in at the Welcome Desk in the Front Lobby for Nursery or Kids ministry programming. Once you have attended, let’s talk about your next steps. (more)
