Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it ~ Proverbs 22:6
Ringgold UMC Preschool’s mission is to create a loving and learning environment. We strive to provide our children with an understanding of God’s love, and how to share it with others. Our program teaches children to develop socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively. We meet children where they are, regardless of their stage of development. Each child is encouraged with love and patience to meet his/her full potential.
We provide classes for One, Two, Three, and Four year old children. Classroom placements are based on a child’s age as of September 1st.

Ringgold UMC Preschool uses Get Set for School by Handwriting without Tears. Get Set for School features readiness & writing, language & literacy, and numbers & math programs using a developmental approach that is based on the most relevant research about how young children learn best. We also use Zoo Phonics for language development. Zoo Phonics is a method to developed to make children strong readers and spellers using a “phono” (hearing), “oral” (speaking) “visual” (seeing) “kinesthetic” (moving) and tactile (touching)-whole brain approach. Students actually learn the sounds of the alphanet and advanced phonemic concepts through an easily understood, concrete method of presentation. Our Bible curriculum is One In Christ by Concordia Publishing House. This curriculum is designed for weekday programs. One in Christ will help young children learn about Jesus and grow in their understanding of God’s love for them.
We have an outstanding faculty. Our teachers have degrees or are state licensed in early childhood education. Each teacher strives to be a Christian example, knowing that children reflect joy, enthusiasm, faith and courtesy. Teaching based on love gives your child a better self-understanding and greater love and respect for others.
