Kirsten loves the Church (that’s big “C” Church, folks!), and serving in a church is an absolute joy for her. With a somewhat diverse background in the places where she has lived, churches she has attended, roles she has played, and people she has met, the one constant is serving the Lord through ministry in a local church.
Kirsten came to Rome, Georgia to play soccer and pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Berry College. Varsity soccer plans got traded for serving in youth ministry, and she added a Spanish minor to her degree, but staying put in Georgia was never questioned! She completed her Master of Arts in Ministry in May 2019, and she serves as a Church Missions Consultant with OMF (a mission agency to east Asia).
In her spare time, Kirsten teaches Spanish, serves on a Board of Directors for a mission in Mexico, plays soccer, and clears her mind by running at the gym. She also enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, and any time that can be spent at the beach.
Kirsten is married to Anthony, an arborist who works for Trees Unlimited. You might hear her speak to her three children in Spanish, and Elan, Ellery, and Ellia are used to responding back in English. Missions has been a part of their entire lives, and they have been to Africa and Mexico.
