(I’VE Had) The Time of My Life

Welcome to week one of SONGS OF SUMMER, a worship theme series for the summer that will explore a vision of “The Beloved Community” found in the Letters of John. “Being Saved” is More About Today than Tomorrow

Salvation is more about today than tomorrow; it is more about life than death. What are you doing with the salvation offered to you by Jesus Christ right now? As many people are considering their own mortality maybe because of a pandemic, consider God’s incredible love for you today. Key Texts: Romans 8:15-17 (CEB)

Accepting Jesus and Other Ways to Experience God’s Grace

The grace of God is central to God’s nature. To experience God is to experience God’s grace. This grace is free, but it is not cheap. When we begin to follow Jesus, we respond to the grace of God that has already been offered to us. Join us as we are encouraged to consider the costly nature of God’s grace and how we should further respond to that grace. Key text: Romans 6:1-4, 10-11, 22-23 (ESV)
