Have you ever been at a family gathering and wanted a particular food item that was out of reach at another part of the table? You probably can remember this feeling vividly as a child. As frustrating as it is to have food just out of reach, there may be something a bit more essential just out of reach of our kids and teenagers.
It has been said that we are always one generation away from the extinction of the Christian faith. All followers of Jesus have the responsibility of passing the faith to the next generation. Just like adults at a dinner table are entrusted with passing food to those who are younger, so too do those who are further along in the faith have the responsibility to pass the faith to those who are younger.
In this one-off message, we will talk practical ways God calls each of us to pass on the faith to the next generation. (Hint: It’s not as difficult as it may seem)
