On Saturday, August 28th beginning at 9:00 AM, Ringgold United Methodist Church will sponsor a 4 hour workshop on "MAXimize Your Career in the New World of Work". We deliver the Career Explorer Course in one 4 hour workshop using a professional facilitator working through the Career Explorer’s Guide.
This Workshop and Guide are designed to be a simple and powerful combination of practical and spiritual instruction exercises and devotionals – intended to be used with other job search, career transition and Christian resources. It is a faith-based approach to explore the six step model "How to Walk Through a Crossroads in Your Career", a path which thousands of people have already walked. Each workshop lasts approximately 4 hours.

Career Direction and Self Assessment
Resume Writing
Networking for Jobs
Interview Preparation
Negotiating a Job Offer
Using the Internet
And more.
Course fee is $25 and includes an 80 page manual, a comprehensive self assessment survey to identify your skills-interests-gifts-passions, access to one of the largest job boards on the internet, access to our web site that provides links to sites for assistance with resume writing and over 200 plus career resources.
