Everyone needs help recovering from something.
Recovery is a weekly ministry that helps people from all walks of life who may be struggling with divorce, codependence, loneliness, grief, alcohol/chemical dependency, debt/overspending, compulsions, or obsessions. Recovery is rooted in Scripture, worship, small group time, and the 12-Steps.

It can help anyone who needs a fresh start. Come join in – and live again!
REGULAR MEETINGS
Meeting every Thursday, regardless of holidays or weather, Recovery @ Ringgold is for people who struggle with a wide range of addictive issues, compulsive behaviors and the challenges of life in general. You will find people who can walk with you on your journey.
LOCATION
Recovery @ Ringgold is hosted at Ringgold United Methodist Church. To participate in the program, park in the front parking lot off of Nashville Street in downtown Ringgold and enter through the Main Entrance.
THE DIFFERENCE
Recovery At Ringgold is dedicated to the traditional 12-step philosophy of recovery, but unlike other programs, emphasizes the need for spiritual healing and development as the key to a successful recovery. Participation in other programs is encouraged in order to broaden support for the recovery process.
THURSDAY SCHEDULE
Recovery @ Ringgold meets every Thursday – rain, shine, or even snow if we can get here! We don’t even stop when a holiday lands on a Thursday. We work hard to create a safe place and stand on principles of anonymity at all times. We support and encourage participation in all recovery programs (AA, NA and AL-ANON).
6:00 PM – Snacks (Multipurpose Room)
Grab a snack and coffee before worship – this is a great chance to catch up with folks and feed your belly before you go into feed your soul!
6:30-7:30 PM – Worship (Multipurpose Room)
Join people in the Contemporary Worship Space for live music, milestone celebrations, and a very relevant message streamed to us from the Recovery Central Campus in Knoxville, TN. The service is VERY casual – we all need healing and hope. During worship, you will hear about the experience, strength, and hope of other people in recovery while focusing on the love and grace of Jesus – our Higher Power!
7:30-8:30PM – Sharing Groups (Classrooms)
Sharing groups will give you a safe place to be honest about your issues. Ranging from chemical addiction and compulsive behaviors to grief and codependency, these groups are an opportunity to hear about the experience, strength and hope of folks on the same path as you. Plan to chat with the Orientation Volunteer your first night to find out which group is right for you.
CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING
We provide child care and kids programs which give parents the opportunity to participate fully in the program.
