Northwest District
Ringgold UMC is part of the Northwest District which is one of twelve districts in the North Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. This web site contains information about United Methodist congregations in our area.

Camp Glisson
Camp Glisson is the North Georgia retreat center in Dahlonega, Georgia. Each summer Glisson offers week long camps for rising third through twelfth graders.
Camp Lookout
Camp Lookout is owned by the Chattanooga and Cleveland Districts of the United Methodist Church and is operated by the Holston Conference. It has been in operation since 1960. Located approximately 20 minutes south of Chattanooga, Camp Lookout is situated on 265 acres atop Lookout Mountain in Georgia.
Northwest Georgia Walk to Emmaus
The Emmaus Community helps Christians grow in their faith. The centerpiece of the ministry is weekend retreats where people experience God’s love. Then participants have the opportunity to meet with other persons who have attended the retreats at reunions and as they serve at the retreats. The Walk to Emmaus is dedicated to the spiritual renewal of participants through fellowship and examination of Christ’s life and teachings. We aim to stregthen local church congregations by enhancing the faith and understanding of each participant.
