Hebrews 3:1-3 reminds me of the main figure of Advent, Jesus Christ. He is both my High Priest and Apostle, highlighting His duel roles as Gods Messenger and the intercessor for humanity. As we look forward, this reading encourages me to focus on Jesus’s faithfulness and sacrifice, showing him to be the fulfillment of Gods promises and the source of our salvation!

It also shows Jesus’ perfect obedience to God’s will and reliability as our savior!
